I
am a qualified Integrative counsellor based in Oxford. I have a wealth of post
qualification
experience as an Associated Counsellor at Swindon
Counselling Service (SCS). SCS is a registered charitable company founded in
1987 to provide counselling and training to people in Swindon and the surrounding areas.
My
training as an Integrative counsellor has given me a range of tools and
approaches and the
flexibility to adapt my style of counselling according to the needs of my client.
I am a member of the British
Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which requires me to
undertake continuing professional development. I also adhere to the BACP
Ethical Framework and provide complete confidentiality to all my clients.
I
believe that all people are capable of directing their own destinies and self-actualisation. Everyone has the power within them to heal traumas created by life and possess an unlimited source of wisdom, which can be used to solve any problem.
My role as your counsellor is not to change who you are or find solutions for you but instead, to help you tap into your own resources and wisdom and find your own solutions and path in life.
